Join Us for a Joyful Christmas Dinner with thousands of Ugandan Children!

As Christmas season draws near, we at Good Child Missions are thrilled to invite you to our Children’s Christmas Dinner scheduled to take place on December 21, 2024. This event is always more than just a meal—it’s a chance to share love, joy, and the message of Jesus Christ with all children . Each Christmas, we serve thousands of hungry children a special meal. Last year, we fed over 5,000+ children, and this year, we hope to double our efforts and make the celebration even bigger and brighter. This dinner brings more than just food—it’s a day for children to forget their worries, enjoy a delicious meal, sing, dance gospel music and hear the good news of salvation through Jesus. We take the opportunity to share the gospel, giving them hope in Christ. Today we’ve officially launched the Dinner fundraiser and this time it is a little bit bigger. $12,647 is the needed amount to cover all we hope to have on the big day, we need to cover food, decorations, entertainment, bibles and other important things loved by children like candies, ice cream, pop corn, name it; all while sharing God’s love with these children. And by faith, we’ve already purchased 200 little chicken that we are raising raising right now to feed the children at the dinner! Please keep us in your prayers.

A COLLEGE STUDENT GETS BRAND NEW BIBLE JUST YESTERDAY.

Join Us In Our Mission Of Providing Bibles To Those In Need.

Yesterday evening, we had the joy of fulfilling a Bible request from a certain college student called Kenneth who reached out to us through our website. This young man, inspired by our Free Bible and Gospel Tract program, contacted us via WhatsApp, and we were thrilled to provide him with a brand new Ruckman Reference Bible. Moments like these remind us of the profound impact our ministry can have on individuals seeking spiritual growth. Every day, we receive requests for Bibles and gospel tracts and while we strive to meet each request, our resources are limited. We do our best to fulfill each request, but the costs can sometimes be intimidating. Right now we have pending requests from countries like Nigeria, the USA, Kenya, and Ghana where shipments require additional funds of which we currently struggle to afford.

“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:14 KJB

FROM MORTALITY TO FAITH.

The Meaning Behind The Story Of Enos, Son Of Seth, Will Not Only Blow Your Mind, But Also Strengthen Your Faith And Draw You Closer To God

Have you ever wondered why Seth named his first son Enos (Genesis 4:25-26)? The name Enos means mortal, weak, or frail, signifying something that cannot live on its own and is destined to die. Consequently, the last line of verse 26 states, “then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.” Why? After Abel’s death (Genesis 4:8), Adam and his people realized that they were subject to death. This realization made them aware that they could no longer live independently and needed to rely on their Creator, prompting them to call on the name of God for help and support. Many times we’ve made or heard statements like, “I lost my…,” “I need help…,” “I lack this or that.” These experiences show that no single human can live independently without God’s assistance. Everyone, regardless of their status or class, will face times of need and the only help is God the maker of everything. Dear brother/sister, you need help from the LORD.

“And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.” Genesis 4:25-26 KJB

Moreover brethren, we must not be ignorant about this, that while God is our ultimate helper, He often works through us to help one another. We are called to support our fellow humans in the same way we would wish for God’s help. By extending a helping hand to those in need, we become instruments of God’s love and care. Let us strive to be there for each other, offering support, compassion, and assistance, just as we hope to receive from God.

We’re thrilled to share that more Bibles are going out, and we’ve added a King James Bible Companion to our packages for those who need it.

We’re committed to continuing this work as long as the Lord leads us to do so, and we’re providing these resources free of charge. It’s heartwarming to see the growing demand for Bibles across our media platforms, email, and website, and we’re eager to fulfill every request. Initially, we weren’t including a KJB Companion in our packages because we did not have them, but we’re grateful to now have them available! While everything is going smoothly for now, we may eventually run low on Bibles, Gospel tracts and funds. Therefore, if you think that programs like this are good and important to the kingdom of God, then consider making a donation to help us continue sharing God’s word with those who need it.

SURRENDERING OUR SINS TO GOD’S TRANSFORMING POWER

As We Walk Through The Fires Of Life, God’s Refining Love Purifies Our Hearts, Burns Away Our Impurities, And Transforms Us Into Vessels Of His Glory.

Just as Elijah called for the destruction of the priests of Baal after God’s fire consumed the sacrifice, we must also confront and destroy our sins, no matter how cherished they may be. We cannot spare them, just as God struck down sin when it was placed upon His own Son. We must condemn our sins to death with unwavering determination. But we don’t have to do it alone – Jesus’ power and the grace of the covenant of grace enable us to overcome sin. By standing in God’s presence, we can discover and defeat our sins, just as Job did when he focused on God and repented. Let us seek God’s purifying fire to burn away our sins, and with His strength, completely destroy the sinful tendencies that grieve Him.

And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there. 1 Kings 18:40 KJV

May we embrace the refining fire of God’s love, which burns away our impurities and transforms us into vessels of honor. As we surrender our sins and shortcomings to His mercy, may we arise anew, tempered by His grace and empowered by His Spirit to walk in victory and freedom. Let us echo the cry of John the Baptist, ‘He must increase, but I must decrease’ (John 3:30 KJV), and behold the glory of the Lord, which covers us like a mantle of righteousness.

LET’S PRAY

Dear Lord Jesus, I’m thankful for your unwavering love and guidance. I appreciate the blessings in my life, including life itself, food, shelter, and loving relationships. Your word reminds me that my current challenges are not random, but rather an opportunity for you to refine and transform me into the person you intend me to be. I surrender everything to you, Lord. Mold me into a good person, according to your will. I trust in your divine plan, rather than my own desires. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

God’s ultimate goal is to reveal His glory through all He does. However, we as humans are limited by our own self-interest and pride, making us unfit to witness God’s glory. To overcome this, God often allows us to face challenges and difficulties, stripping us of our self-reliance and revealing our weaknesses. Through these struggles, we come to recognize God’s majesty and power in our deliverance. Those who navigate life’s calm waters may miss out on experiencing God’s greatness, but those who face turbulent storms and deep struggles come to know His power and love. Embrace your trials, for they have enriched you with a deeper understanding of God’s nature and allowed you to behold His glory in a way that prosperity never could.

And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth. The Lord Knows your struggles and in due time he’ll make all things right. All you’ve got to do is to keep more quite and listen carefully because there is a message/a voice speaking with in the storm. wait a little longer, Stand still and keep that faith in Jesus for he is all in all.

Dear Lord Jesus, I’m grateful for your love and guidance in my life. Thank you for the blessings I have, including life itself, sustenance, shelter, and the people who care about me. I humbly ask for your help in my current struggles, trusting in your divine plan rather than my own desires. Please extend your comfort and support to all those facing challenges, just as I am. I have faith in your goodness, love, and power. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.”

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this ministry. When people ask for Bibles, we give them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Cup of porridge program, Child Sponsorship Program, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.
