The Story Of How God Found And Changed The Lives Of Nelson And Derrick Will Absolutely Bring Chills On Your Spine.
The story behind these two boys completely amazes me too, very much, in fact it taught me a great lesson in my life, that all man should never forget is that they cannot and would never live on their own with out God. One day on a certain evening, I escorted my Wife Elizabeth to a certain women’s community development training which she was their teacher that evening. But because I was not a woman, when we arrived at the training center, I decided to proceed and move around in the village where we had visited, as I wait for her to finish her work. It was a new village that I had never been to before. So I felt to move a round, hoping to find someone and witness to them about the Lord Jesus.
The Spirit Led me to a certain stream, where I found these two little boys, busy trying to empty the the stream with a small cooking pan. I greeted them, they never replied because they were so tired. I sat by the stream, and later thought to Join them and help them drain the stream so that they could get some mud fish to eat. As I was helping them, I slowly began asking them some questions and they began answering me.
They told me how they lost their dad, because he went to hunt in a bush and never returned back and now living with mom a lone. They went a head and told me why they left school, because of the loss of their dad, now surviving by hunting for mud fish in small streams for food.
I felt so much touched, the LORD placed on my heart to tell them that all was going to be well though I never knew how. I asked them to take me to their home, I spoke with their mother and told them not to loose hope that God was gonna help them In the near future. A month later I posted the pictures of these boys on my Facebook group and gave a little bit of introduction about them.
Few days later I received a message from this Christian Woman that I will not mention the Name, saying “Brother, I want to Sponsor Derrick and Nelson and I would like to sponsor James too”, (James is another GCM child) She went on and said “I feel the Lord has placed on my heart to to it and every month”. She asked if I could give her more details of the boys and I did as she asked. She was able to support these boys, dressed them, paid for their school fees and these boys went back to school and Life got much better and above all they gave their lives to Jesus Christ.
I don’t know perhaps how your life has been and how the Lord came to get into your life, but thank God that for you, you are saved and a bit better. The Lord has given me and you a tremendous course to preach the Gospel to all men. Now that you were saved first, What are you doing to help others come to the truth that you found?
"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." 2 Timothy 4:1-2 (KJB)
At GCM we support Children with the goal of raising them in a way of fearing and loving God. Its our prayer and wish that when they grow up, they get to do the same ministry of having something done for the Lord Jesus Christ. So consider joining the other fellow brethren who are partnering with us to see the gospel of the grace of God go out to the lost souls.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please pray for our efforts, and if the Lord put on your heart to donate, be as generous as possible. The war is REAL, the harvest is PLENTY, the battle HOT and the time is SHORT…TO THE FIGHT!!!
